Shizuku is a girl with a passion for words. One day on her way from the library she was lead by a fat cat to an old store where she met an old man who showed her many wondrous things. She also met a strange boy. She soon found herself competing with this boy, trying to complete a story, before he could finish his apprenticeship as an instrument maker.
