Saira is Link's best friend and is everyone's favorite Kokiri. (Especially Mido's ^.~) She's very kind and is essential to the plot of OoT for she gives Link the Fairy Ocarina and later teaches him 'Saria's Song'. Later on the game, you discover that Saria was chosen to be the Sage of Forest.
