Nanami first appears in episode 3 of Shoujo Kakumei Utena. At first, we see her as a rotten, two-faced bully, when she tried to play a trick on Anthy. Some might say that Nanami has an almost fierce obsession with her older brother. But, she doesn't “love” him, not in that way. She feels that he’s the only one on whom she can count on, so that’s why she is so protective of him.
