Miaka was an ordinary school girl until one day, she happened upon a book at the library that transported her to a new world. There, she became Suzaku no Miko--the Priestess of the Animal God Suzaku, and fell in love with one of her protectors, Tama home. This fate also pitted her against her best friend, Yui Hongo, which was all because of jealously and misunderstanding.
