She's the girl who lives in Lon Lon Ranch, with her father and Ingo, their servant. She always keeps an eye on the horses, but especially on the youngest one, Epona. Malon even seems to be singing a song for her all the time, called Epona's song, who makes them really close to each other. Link first met Malon on his way to Hyrule castle. Since that day, they're really good friends.
