Lillymon is the Digivolved state of Mimi's Togemon. Where Togemon was large and bulky, Lillymon is small, thin, and a little egotistical about her looks. Mimi used to think her Digimon wasn't so great, definitely something she couldn't take to the mall or some other public place with her. However, when Lillymon emerged, her opinions quickly changed.
