As second in command of Babylon 5, Commander Ivanova is the person who must ensure that everything on the station is running smoothly. As such she has developed a few simple rules, also called the Babylon 5 mantra: "Ivanova is always right. I will listen to Ivanova. I will not ignore Ivanova's recommendations. Ivanova is God. And if this ever happens again, Ivanova will personally rip your lungs out."
