Hyperia is the Queen of the Fire People and mother to Malta. She hates her brother Oceanus because of a misunderstanding. Due to this, when Hyperia finds out that Malta is in love with Syrius, son of Oceanus, Hyperia is angry with Malta and tries to keep her from Syrius.
