Gladys is one of the members of the C-project. As the members of the C-project are from different nationalities, she is from the US. Not much is known about her, except that in the novels, it is said that she was sexually abused by her stepfather as a child, and ever since then, she never wanted to fall in love with a man, nor did she have the courage to speak with a man alone. However, during her stay in Japan, the novels say that she found a man she could trust, respect and love. It is unknown who that man is, but the novels seem to be hinting at Kagami.
